The program was developed by Dr. Jenna Jacobson, an Associate Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University, who serves as the Academic Lead. She is also the Founding Director of the Retail Leadership Institute and Eaton Chair of Retailing at the Ted Rogers School of Management. 


Her research on digital retailing, social media, and user behaviour has been published in top journals, such as International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Business Research, and International Journal of Consumer Studies. As a renowned scholar, she regularly provides expert commentary in various news outlets such as the Financial Times, Bloomberg, The Globe and Mail, National Post, and Toronto Star.
