TechTalent Accelerator is a hub designed to foster industry specific skills, knowledge, and experience with exposure to evolving challenges and opportunities faced by the Tech industry. This hub will service the current and evolving needs of the tech sector by:
(i) providing skills, tools and opportunities for new talent,
(ii) build meaningful partnerships between industry and academia to better align education and future employment needs,
(iii) encourage innovation in education and training, and
(iv) reduce systemic barriers faced by new talent.
The strategy is to train the next generation of industry-ready talent for the Canadian Tech industry. While this industry is projected to grow steadily over the next decade, one of the major barriers impacting Canada’s position remains the shortage of skilled and experienced employees.
