The TechTalent Accelerator is a training program designed to launch the next generation of industry-ready talent for the Canadian Technology sector. The program is a collaboration between Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson), CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association) and its member companies.




Open to undergraduate and graduate students from relevant degree programs like Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, and Arts. The program provides industry-specific exposure, training and experiential learning opportunities. Undergraduates and Graduates develop a strong understanding of the Canadian Technology industry and obtain the hands-on experience necessary for transitioning into the industry.


Our commitment to EDI in recruitment and training is essential to the advancement of empowering the next generation of talent. The TechTalent team comprises of people from diverse backgrounds, including females, visible minorities, and disabilities. The mission of TechTalent is to deliver diverse ExperienceTech cohorts and ExploreTech programs at no cost to ensure participants are equipped with skills and confidence to excel in Canadian Tech/IT related industries.
